Polished Brass Organic is an untreated living brass finish supplied with a bright, polished surface and warm golden tone. Over time, its initial lustre will soften as the brass naturally matures, developing the depth, variation and patinated character associated with traditional brassware. No two pieces will age in exactly the same way, giving each fixture an individual appearance shaped by its environment and use.

As a living finish, Polished Brass Organic will continue to change over time. Areas that are regularly handled will gradually lighten to a warmer golden tone, while less frequently touched areas will naturally darken. Water marking, spotting and green oxidation are expected characteristics of untreated brass and form part of the finish’s evolving appearance.

Individual components may vary when supplied and will continue to patina differently over time. Factors including climate, exposure, handling, cleaning and waxing will all influence how the finish develops. For projects requiring a more consistent polished brass appearance with minimal ageing, we recommend Polished Nordic Brass from our PVD finish range.

When ordering, please specify the Polished Brass Organic finish code. The final two digits of each Brodware product code identify the finish. Polished Brass Organic is represented by .03.
