Ultrafix
Designed for accurate concealed product installation with reduced installation time, Ultrafix® provides a complete in-wall system for mixers and outlets. From initial set-out through to final fit-off, each component is designed to support accurate alignment, straightforward installation and a clean finished result.
Precision concealed installations
The Ultrafix® system is compatible with all Brodware wall mixers and outlets and features a fully welded breech assembly for accurate alignment and strength.
An optional multi-fit mounting kit is available separately, allowing accurate alignment to studs or masonry. When used, adjustment screws also allow the installation depth to be accurately set.
The result is a concealed system designed so architectural fittings fit off perfectly.
Ultrafix® brings the concealed installation, waterproofing and final fit-off together within one system, helping achieve accurate positioning behind the finished wall and a precise architectural fit-off.
The system meets the requirements of AS3718, WaterMark and WELS.
Accurate alignment
Ultrafix® is designed to support accurate positioning of concealed fittings before the wall is finished. The fully welded breech assembly provides strength and maintains alignment, while the optional multi-fit mounting kit allows accurate fixing to studs or masonry and adjustment of installation depth.
Reduced operating noise
The Ultrafix® system incorporates Acoustibar® insulation and an Acoustibar® fixing system to help reduce operating noise within the wall.
The polystyrene moulding surrounding the in-wall body is not packaging. It forms a functional part of the system, acting as an acoustic barrier to help isolate and reduce noise generated during operation.
Ease of installation
Ultrafix® has been developed to simplify the installation of concealed mixers and outlets. Bottom inlet feeds provide easier connection, while adjustable mounting allows the system to be accurately positioned before wall sheeting, waterproofing and final fit-off.
Once the finished wall surface is complete, the sleeves can be trimmed back to the tile face before sealing and fitting off the architectural fittings.
Durable construction
Brass and stainless-steel construction is used throughout the Ultrafix® system to help prevent corrosion. The fully welded breech assembly also provides strength and stability within the concealed installation.
Waterproofing protection
O-ring sealed sleeves help prevent water from leaking into the wall cavity and provide a defined interface between the concealed system and finished wall surface. A waterproofing aid is supplied for each fitting to support the application of waterproofing to Australian Standards before tiling and final fit-off.
