Weathered Brass Organic is a living brass finish with a rich, darkened tone and warm golden undertones. Created by accelerating the natural ageing process of a brushed brass surface, it begins with an established patina that will continue to develop over time. Its depth creates a strong contrast against lighter stone and solid surfaces, while sitting comfortably alongside darker, more layered interiors.

As a living finish, Weathered Brass Organic will continue to change over time. Areas that are regularly handled will gradually lighten, revealing warmer golden tones, while less frequently touched areas will naturally darken. Water marking, spotting and green oxidation are expected characteristics of untreated brass and form part of the finish’s evolving appearance.

Individual components may vary when supplied and will continue to patina differently over time. Factors including climate, exposure, handling, cleaning and waxing will all influence how the finish develops. For projects requiring a more consistent dark brass appearance with minimal ageing, we recommend Roma Bronze or Statue Bronze from our PVD finish range.
